We’ve got some exciting news from the team here at Zoo.
While the ZooCrew have been travelling the UK and beyond delivering unparalleled luxury in the form of glamping from ZooBells and posh Loos and Showers from ZooLoos, back in the Zoo office we’ve been busy building a brand-new enterprise for all outdoor events.
How ZooTipis was born
Since introducing our Baby Tipis to the market, we knew we wanted to take Tipis further with bigger and better structures to provide an unforgettable, luxury events experience on a larger scale.
Constantly looking to evolve and respond to the needs of our clients, Zoo Events Group is dedicated to making a positive impact on the outdoor events industry. It’s our ambition to become a one-stop shop for luxury event hire, fulfilling all aspects of an event under one roof.
We commit to assisting our clients every step of the way, from an empty field to a successful event. By reducing the number of suppliers needed to be consulted, we ensure that each moving piece of your outdoor events puzzle is handled by professionals who have delivered outstanding results for some of the most prestigious events around the country.

2019 saw ZooTipis’ first introduction to the wild, being highly sought after at various festivals, weddings and parties during the summer months. They’ve proven to be a huge success (they are giant tipis after all).

Introducing our Tipis
The demand for outdoor event spaces has risen exponentially over the last few years, with people searching for a more unique experience than the same staid four walls of a hotel. Festival weddings and parties are becoming popular, as well as corporate events seeking to get ‘back to nature’.
That’s why we developed the perfect addition to our glamping, posh loos and shower options by providing the venue itself. Now every part of your event can be outdoors and as tame or as wild as you like.
So, what do we have on offer?
Our Giant Hat Tipis are now the biggest animal in the Zoo at 10.5m in diameter. These versatile spaces can be linked together in a wide array of shapes to create a space suited to your taste and environment. Whether you are looking for seating or standing, dancing or dining, we’ll decorate and style the Hats, turning your vision into reality.
This year alone, we have seen our Tipis used for weddings, banquet parties, discos, bars, cosy grottos, glamping receptions and chill-out spaces. No matter what the occasion, ZooTipi will cover it.
Our second biggest structure is The Midi, which is 8.5m in diameter. The beauty of the Midi is that it can be linked together with the Giant Hats for an additional breakaway space or used as a standalone space.
These Tipis are hugely popular and are often used as a separate bar area (keep the queues away from the dancefloor, please!) or as a chill-out tent with one of our cosy firepits surrounded by sofas, bean bags and elegant throws.
Baby Tipis are the smallest of the bunch and are primarily utilised as accommodation structures, furnished with the most lavish interiors on the market. With real wooden beds, faux fur blankets, button stools and chandeliers, you could be forgiven for thinking you were staying in a luxury hotel room.
This year we developed an en-suite Glamp Pod, which can be attached to our Baby Tipis to truly take glamping to the next level. This beautifully stylised unit contains a hot shower and vacuum flushing toilet complemented by an elegant sink and mirror station – enabling your guests to attend the event in style, whatever the occasion.
A Naked Tipi frame, without any canvas covering is ideal as a standalone icon piece. Dress it up with fairy lights to create a great focal point for your event. Think of a welcoming firepit with outdoor seating, an alfresco romantic dining area or simply a fun feature with festoon lighting to brighten up the area.
