Camping & Home Comforts

All Boomtown tickets give you free access to our beautiful Campsite Villages, where you can pitch up and call home. They’re nestled on the outskirts of Town, offering a peaceful retreat from the creative chaos. Campsite Villages are where the festival's heart beats with yoga, crafts, acoustic sessions and inspiring talks.

If you’d prefer a little more glamour and ease, or would like to add some home comforts for your trip, we have lots of options.

CAMP ORCHID

Upgrade your camping experience with Camp Orchid! Experience spacious, sectioned-off camping, flushing toilets, and an epic pamper parlour with hot showers, mirrors, hair dryers and straighteners. Just bring your tent, pitch up and enjoy.

Sip on drinks, devour street food, and chill by the fire pit at the boutique bar. Orchid wristbands also grant you access to flushing toilets inside the Town.

CAMP SKYLARK

Camp Skylark is all about making life easy and letting you soak up the festival vibes hassle-free. From cosy bell tents to luxurious airstreams, we've got it all. Including flushing toilets, hot showers and pamper parlour with, mirrors, hair dryers and straighteners. Relax away from the mayhem and enjoy a morning coffee or sunset cocktail from Skylark’s boutique bar and chillout area. Skylark wristbands also grant you access to flushing toilets inside the Town.

No more hauling heavy luggage or set up stress – your accommodation will be ready when you arrive! When it's time to leave, no need to pack down – just clear your space and go!

Don’t forget, all Camp Skylark residents must purchase a Skylark Wristband.

Accommodation prices start from £505 (That’s £127 per person based on four sharers!). You are able to add extras to your instalment plan if you purchase it along with your ticket.

Lockers

Keep your keys and other personal belongings safe in a locker so you can relax with your valuables locked away. Plus, each locker has a plug socket and dual USB ports. Just bring your cables! Find them in the centre of Town or in some Campsite Villages.

Secure your locker ahead of time, and we'll email you a week before the festival with a QR code for access.

PHONE CHARGING

Stay charged, stay connected, and stay in the loop! Keep your phone alive with our phone chargers. With options to either grab a portable charger or to leave your phone with our awesome team, you can keep your phone charged all weekend.

Campervans

Secure your live-in vehicle pass for Chapter Three, Just remember to keep it within your 5m wide x 7m deep pitch. Got a bigger ride? Grab two pitches. Get your pass sooner rather than later as our Campervan sells out very quickly.

You cannot set up tents in the Campervan campsite and don't forget, everyone needs a valid Festival Entry ticket. Check our T&C's for all the details.

TANGERINE FIELDS

Get ready for hassle-free camping with Tangerine Fields. No pegs, no fuss! Their spacious tents have you covered, from cosy couples to big groups. And if you want to go even lighter, add sleeping accessories to your booking. Plus, group bookings keep your crew together. Just email: info@tangerinefields.co.uk.

Tangerine Fields offer a range of tents from 1-2 person all the way up to 8 person.

CAMPLIGHT

Camplight is the most affordable and sustainable way to add a little simplicity to your stay. No glitz, just practicality in the festival mayhem! We've got repurposed and recycled pre-pitched tents for everyone, from soloists to squads. 

Go for pop-ups, roomy domes, or family-sized tents – Camplight has got it all. Need camping gear? They’ve got roll mats, sleeping bags, and chairs. Group bookings keep your crew together. So travel light and let us handle the setup. Check out Camplight for more info.

Travel

Coach

Grab a discounted Green Transport Citizen ticket, and hop on one of our coaches from over 60 locations around the UK.

TRAIN & SHUTTLE BUS

Jump on the train to Winchester Train Station and then onto a shuttle bus straight to Boomtown. Shuttle buses run every day throughout the festival, From Wednesday to Monday.

Driving

If you plan to drive to Boomtown, you’ll need to book a car parking pass for your vehicle, these are much cheaper when booked in advance! If you can, please car share, it makes the journey cheaper and less environmentally impactful. 

Specific routing information will be shared in the 2024 Essential Guide, closer to the festival.

Pick up & Drop off

Unless this really is the only option for you, we ask to not even have this as an option. Getting dropped off at Boomtown is the worst way to get to the festival for the environment. If you are making use of this option we ask that you car share as much as possible.

If you must get a lift or a taxi to Boomtown, you will be signposted to a Pick Up & Drop Off point, details of which will be included in the 2024 Essential Guide.

Car parking passes

Car parking passes are available to purchase from £40. You are able to add extras to your instalment plan if you purchase it along with your ticket.

Motorbike

If you plan on heading to Boomtown on the open road, you can park in our Motorbike Park. Details of its location will be found in the 2024 Essential Guide.

Private hire coaches

If there’s a big group of you, you can book your own private coach or minibus (18+ seats) to travel to Boomtown. You’ll need to book a timeslot to be dropped off/picked up at our coach park. More info on how to do this will be released closer to the festival.

Camping Skylark

No, this year there is no ‘Bring Your Own Tent’ option in Skylark (pre-pitched only!). If you want to bring your own tent to Boomtown but still enjoy showers, flushing loos and a secure campsite, check out Camp Orchid..

Camp Skyark will be open from 2pm on Wednesday. Check out is at 11am on Monday 12th August.

You must vacate by 11am on Monday 12th August.

Yes, there is an accessible washroom and flushing toilet within Skylark.

No, you can only buy a Camp Skylark wristband if you have booked accommodation. The lead booker is the person who purchased the accommodation. The lead booker must purchase the correct number of wristbands for the amount of people that are staying in the accommodation.

Yes, you can only access Camp Skylark with a Camp Skylark Resident Wristband.

Yes, you need to purchase a festival ticket to enter the festival, the Camp Skylark wristband is for access to Camp Skylark only.

Camping orchid

Yes, you need to purchase a Citizenship ticket to enter the festival. The Camp Orchid wristband is for access to this campsite only.

Yes, there will be an accessible washroom and toilet.

The exact location of Camp Orchid will be released later in the year.

Travel

Yes! This year we are running a guided cycle from Bristol all the way to the Boomtown site.

If you are planning to drive yourself to Boomtown remember to book a car parking pass for your vehicle - these are much cheaper when booked in advance! We would strongly recommend car sharing if you’re coming by car - It’s not only less environmentally impactful but also makes the journey cheaper.

Yes! If you have booked your own private coach or minibus for you and your mates to come to the festival, you need to book a space to be dropped off at our coach park.

Absolutely! This service is available for anyone. You can buy it online via our ticket page or on the day.

We run a regular shuttle bus from Winchester train station to the festival site. A timetable will be published in July via the Boomtown website. The shuttle service will be wheelchair accessible.

There are loads of ways to get to the festival! We recommend coming to the festival via public transport. Shuttle buses also run to and from the local train station in Winchester and taxis and car share schemes are available.

Bike to Boomtown

The cycle will start in Bristol. An exact start location is yet to be decided but more information will be coming soon in 2024

The cycle will take place over 2 days.

2-day cycle ride to Boomtown with overnight camp departing on Tuesday 6th August and upgrade Camp Orchid Wristband. Includes guided ride, baggage transfer from the start location to Boomtown, lunch both days, roadside snacks & refreshments, PDF itinerary and ride whatsapp group. Book with a Green Transport Citizen Ticket to benefit from reduced price entry and a free Wednesday upgrade. If you select a return journey then the price includes return coach and bike transfer on Monday 12th August. Camp Orchid is our upgraded campsite for those looking for added creature comforts during their stay at Boomtown. Camp Orchid benefits from a spacious, sectioned-off camping area, with clean flushing toilets and full access to a pamper parlour experience that includes hot showers, mirrors, hair straighteners and dryers.

The Red Fox Cycling team have hand-picked beautiful, rural campsites for the ride. The cost of your tent pitch is included in the ride price.

As a Boomtown bike rider, you will receive free access to Camp Orchid, but you are welcome to camp in any standard campsites. It's up to you!

Dinner on Tuesday night will be self-funded. The Red Fox team will either book a table for the group in a local country pub or, if the weather allows it, they'll serve up a delicious BBQ and drinks in our campsite!

The Red Fox Cycling team have both lunches and breakfast covered.  It will be served ‘road side’ out of the support van, in quiet spots with lovely views. The support van will also set up little roadside snacks and recharge breaks along the route so you can refuel.

We aim to arrive early evening on Wednesday 7th August by 5:30 pm. You’ll be able to lock up your bicycle in the secure Boomtown bike park and then we will then hand back your bags and camping equipment.

The Boomtown team will provide a secure bicycle park on the Boomtown site.Though this area has 24-hour security, we recommend you bring a strong lock to secure your frame and wheels. The Red Fox team will bring extra cable locking to provide added security.

People can either jump in with a friend who is already driving back – or join a dedicated cyclists coach back to London or Bristol on Monday morning. Our support van will travel back with the coach and transport bikes back for people who need it. This option is at an extra cost. Make sure you book the 'Return Coach and Bike Transfer' option at checkout.

The ride is ‘moderately’ difficult and you’ll need to be capable of cycling 45 miles per day.

The Bristol ride is relatively flat though there are some moderate climbs as we cross the Wessex Downs. There’ll be plenty of breaks, very supportive and friendly guides and we’ll structure the day to keep it fun and relaxing.
